This morning, we launched support for Android phones!  Androids can now access Stay Useful with our classy mobile interface, manage lists even when offline, and sync everything seamlessly to the cloud.

Stay Useful is now available for Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Safari, Chrome (as an App and an Extension), and Firefox - all for just $4!

We’ve been playing a lot of Kinect Dance Central on our Xbox lately, and the scoring and achievement system is really great.  It doesn’t want to discourage you from dancing just because you didn’t hit all the moves, so you’ll see things like “New Best!” and “Rank Up!” and “You’re making progress!” instead of “You didn’t do it right, start over.”
This is the same kind of positive reinforcement I want to have in Stay Useful.  I don’t ever want software to tell me that I’m not good enough, or that I’ve done something wrong. I want it to tell me I’m doing a great job, and that my hard work is, if not perfect, at least a step in the right direction.
And every once in a while, I want it to tell me I’ve got great hair.

We just rolled out some new features to make Stay Useful easier to use and more reliable. You’ll see them the next time you login!

Offline Access If you’re using Safari, Chrome, or an iOS device, Stay Useful will now work when you are completely offline! Even without an internet connection, you’ll be able to load Stay Useful and use it as if you were still online. All of your changes will be synced as soon as you reconnect. (This update also means Stay Useful will load mind-numbingly fast once installed!)

Keyboard Shortcuts If you’re using a device with a keyboard attached, you can now use keyboard shortcuts to navigate your list. Use the up and down arrows in the list view to highlight a task, then hit ESC to pop up the edit window. From within the edit window, you can snooze a task with the left and right arrows, then hit shift-enter to save (or ESC to cancel…)

Morning List Delivery Starting tomorrow, we’ll email you a copy of your list first thing in the morning so you can get right to work on the days tasks. We’ve been using this new feature for a few weeks now, and we love waking up to our list in our inboxes!

Finally, we’ve added a special treat for people who complete their entire list. Keep your eyes peeled!
